Jenna Fischer's most famous role was as Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. In recognition of her work, she was awarded an Emmy award for Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won 2 SAG Awards.
In Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in performances at church while she was younger that instilled a passion for theater and performing.
Fischer is an actress who has theater training. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy. The Old Globe Theatre's premiere, She starred opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf in October 2019. The podcast has proven to be an enormous success, making the Top Ten worldwide every week with more than 200 million downloads within its first two-years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in the month of January in 2021.
She is the writer of two books, The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide, in which she details her journey through St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends That Were There (co-authored with Angela Kinsey) This book provides the story of their greatest friendship and time working for The Office.
